Google has copied the famous Dell Ideastorm method of using crowdsourcing or may also be called the use of social media  to develop new ideas and improvements for its products.Google is inviting users to propose what they'd like to see Google build and vote on proposed ideas from others.Google says
At Google, we know we've got some really great users with some really great ideas, and we're excited to open up a new project called Product Ideas, a platform through which we're taking a new approach to feedback for Google mobile products. Whether it's a feature request, a crazy idea, a rave or a rant, we want to hear it. Even more, we want other users to hear it, to see what others are buzzing about, and to be able to vote on all these ideas."
The problem with these ventures is that only 1% of your crowd will actually submit the ideas and about 8-9% at most will vote on them and all of these would belong to the early adopter crowd and the products you build on their suggestion might not please the actually mass which is your main product this was illustrated in this forrester research story.Lets see however what happens in this case since Google's product user base is the highest

I think this is going to be popular, because at this platform peoples put and get our ideas about product and services and the best thing is this is a GOOGLE product(a symbol of simplicity).
