YouTube started displaying advertisements inside selected partner videos a year and a half ago and moved to include selected videos in AdSense campaigns just over a year ago. Although YouTube streams more than 5 billion videos a month, estimates bandied about are that only 3 to 4 percent of those videos have ads. Its not exactly known how well Youtube has monetized but since the start of this year Google has been rolling out myriad of tools to monetize Youtube and the latest method is through sponsored videos. Now Youtube is the second largest destination for searching after google itself (Viewers search on the site more than 2.5 billion times per month) so Google has decided to sell search results for people trying to promote their videos and this is called Sponsored videos. It works pretty much exactly like AdWords you bid on terms, set daily limits, etc and you only pay when someone clicks to watch.
Have you made a video of your band performing its new single, or your company's new product demonstration or your nonprofit group's expose of corporate misbehavior? If you'd like to have that video highlighted on the site, now you can - for a price. What price? What can you bid?

You can find more through this Video from Google itself
