Close on the heel of Yahoo's international brand marketing campaign we have Yahoo India also launching its own brand campaign for Yahoo Search. Some time back Yahoo India had rolled out a all new glue page for Yahoo search (which is second in India with a market share of 9.4%) for some specific kinds of keywords and this campaign is in order to promote this search brand. Now these Yahoo search pages has many different kinds of results blogs,wiki, answers all combined on a single page and are part of an experiment which yahoo is trying out only in India.Yahoo is trying to convey the message that it delivers the results faster through this ad campaign and its strategy is again to target the all important youth demographics with a mixture of humor and a dose of adventure. According to Yahoo as reported by Alootechie
“There is a strong and compelling reason for us to go out to the market in a much more vocal way and talk about our story,” . “Through this campaign, we want to further strengthen our connection with the youth (in the 16-24 years age group) in India and give people a reason to make Yahoo India their starting point to the internet.”

Well its difficult to say if this will dent Google even marginally in India but still the effort is innovative and marketing is quite good too.Enjoy the video of the ad
