Google is facing the heat in its advertising market.Digg the user powered websites where people post their news and others vote on it so that only the top news is present has fired google as its ad provider and has hired Microsoft as its advertiser Forbes reports.Digg has over 9.6 million unique visitors internationally in June itself making it a huge deal for Microsoft after the facebook deal. However Digg will keep its partner Federated media also to sell ads.
Interestingly a vast majority of Digg users are Anti-Microsoft since Linux and Apple are the two most popular topics at Digg wonder how they will react to it.Meanwhile Clickz also has a recent report which says that small publishers are now ditching Google to sell their adspace direct  which in the end is much better option if you can afford it since Google ads has always evoked complaints about not being transparent enough to its publishers and also low paying to those small publishers who are not into technology websites.
